Scenes from First Presbyterian Church
First Presbyterian believes in a strong Christian education program.  Through education we learn the history of God’s interaction with man, the teachings of Jesus, and how to apply these to our lives today.  We offer several classes to meet the needs of our diverse congregation.  Our Adult and Youth classes meet at 8:45 A.M. on Sunday morning, and the Presbyterian Women's Bible studay meets throughout the month as noted.  You are invited to attend these open classes.

Adult Class
Fellowship, bible study, and lively discussion make this class a great way to start your Sunday morning. We use the Presbyterian Church (USA) We Believe curriculum to jump-start each Sunday's lesson. We Believe is a quarterly curriculum that includes core stories from Old and New Testaments, as well as appropriate sessions for the seasons of Advent and Christmas, Lent and Easter, and Pentacost. The theme for spring 2007 is New Creation. In addition to the We Believe curriculum, the class spends time exploring spiritual practices and discussing contemporary "hot topics." Newcomers are always welcome.
